In our 18 to 24-month Michelin Trainee program you will learn the basics and skills for your future job. The three phases Kick-off, Qualification and Specialization contain the tailored training and practical support. To support your personality development and leadership skills, a committed mentor from the management will assist you throughout the entire program.

SPECIALisations


TRAINEE INDUSTRIAL OPERATIONS AND MANAGEMENT


Their field of application is tire production. You get to know the entire production process and support our production and team leaders in managing their departments. In doing so, you take responsibility for projects and establish your personal network across factory and country borders.

TRAINEE MARKETING & SALES B2C


As a trainee in the area of ​​Marketing & Sales, you start your own sales area in Germany. A multi-week training program in our training center prepares you intensively for your activity. An experienced Sales Manager accompanies you to your customers and helps you to expand your technical and methodical skills. At the same time, you are responsible for or accompany projects on a national and international level in order to prepare for your future sales target position.

TRAINEE TECHNICAL / COMMERCIAL KEY ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT


Their customers are the European vehicle manufacturers. As a trainee in original equipment, you will get to know the entire development process of tailor-made products for our customers. After several weeks of training at our headquarters in Clermont-Ferrand (France), you accompany your teammates to customer appointments and gradually acquire their own customer base.

 

PROCEDURE


In the introductory phase you will get to know your trainee colleagues. Together you will complete various trainings to get to know our company, our strategic objectives and our products better. At this stage, regular meetings with your personal mentor begin.

During the qualification phase, you will learn from the bottom up what your future job is and where it is located in the overall context of the company. This phase will be accompanied by workshops, off-the-job trainings and trainings at home and abroad.

The final specialization phase corresponds to an intensive on-the-job training in your target position. You build your professional network and gradually take over your own area of ​​responsibility.

CANDITATURE


The Michelin Trainee Program starts annually in October. The selection process starts in April of the same year. All trainee job opportunities are posted online through job search on our career website. Please upload a cover letter, your CV and your diplomas. If your application documents convince us, you will receive an invitation to the Assessment Center in Karlsruhe or Frankfurt am Main.
