THE OPPORTUNITY

Join Michelin North America's Sales Team as a Summer Intern, supporting either our B2B or B2C sales organization. This internship offers a unique chance to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, customer-focused environment. You’ll work directly with our sales professionals and customers, contributing to real projects that drive business impact. This is more than just an internship—it’s a launchpad for your career in sales, analytics, and customer engagement.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a Sales Intern, your responsibilities will vary based on business needs and team assignment. You will be empowered to contribute meaningfully to our organization through:

  • Completing daily and weekly tasks such as data analysis, research, and project support.
  • Managing short- or mid-term projects assigned by your acting manager.
  • Participating in cross-functional teams or committees.
  • Developing autonomy, professionalism, and core sales competencies.
  • Learning the structure, responsibilities, and processes of the Sales organization.
  • Supporting the North American Sales Team through various initiatives.

Assignment Highlights:

  • Work alongside either B2B or B2C Sales Teams.
  • Be coached by experienced Michelin Account Managers and Sr. Sales Directors.
  • Engage directly with customers to develop tailored solutions.
  • Contribute to smaller ad-hoc projects as needed.

Expected Deliverables:

  • Gain a deep understanding of the business through collaboration with diverse teams (e.g., Category Management, BI, Training, Marketing, Supply).
  • Participate in customer-facing activities to understand their business and Michelin’s value proposition.
  • Present proposals to sales teams and customers based on identified opportunities.
  • Lead conversations with selected customers to uncover growth potential.
  • Develop and implement action plans to support customer engagement.
  • Deliver a final presentation to Sales Leadership summarizing your project and impact.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Professional communication skills with external partners, suppliers, customers, and internal colleagues.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office® Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and a willingness to learn new software tools.
  • A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
