OUR TEAM: 

In the Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Department), we aim to build a world‑class safety culture and ensure full compliance with Michelin’s global standards while continuously reducing workplace risks for all employees and contractors

MISSION: 

In this role, he/she/they will  

  • Lead Support the Site Safety Manager in steering the Safety domain at the site, ensuring alignment with Michelin’s strategic direction and safety expectations.
  • Manage on a daily basis Guarantee the implementation, proper application, and effectiveness of the HSE Management System within the Safety domain at site level, ensuring consistent compliance with internal standards and external regulations. Act as the technical referent for the Safety domain on site, providing expert guidance, validating safety measures, and ensuring technical robustness in all safety‑related decisions.
  • Collaborate with Cross‑functional teams across Production, Engineering, Maintenance, HR, and Quality to ensure safety integration throughout operations. External stakeholders including authorities, auditors, and service providers where necessary. Country‑level and regional Michelin Safety networks to share learnings, best practices, and support collective improvement.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 

Required: 

  • Obtained a degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related engineering field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Safety/HSE roles within manufacturing or process industries.
  • Proficiency in HSE Management Systems (ISO 45001), incident investigation tools, and standard safety engineering practices.
  • Business proficiency in English (B2) and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Strong skills in risk analysis, stakeholder management, problem‑solving, communication, and data‑driven decision‑making aligned with Michelin’s value of Respect for Facts.

Preferred:  

  • Recognized HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, AK3 Umum).
  • Experience in project safety, machine safety validation, or environmental management aligned with Michelin’s sustainability commitments.
