Introduction to CX Digital Factory

At the heart of Michelin Group's digital transformation lies the CX Digital Factory, a beacon of innovation and expertise in the digital landscape. Established with a bold vision in 2016, the CX Digital Factory emerged from the necessity to pivot from traditional methodologies to a more dynamic, agile approach in digital solutions. With the adoption of the open-source CMS Apostrophe, we embarked on a mission to redefine the digital footprint of the Michelin Group. Our journey since then has been nothing short of remarkable, with over 550 websites launched, each serving as a testament to our digital prowess and unwavering commitment to excellence.

The CX Digital Factory is a melting pot of talent, hosting 220 professionals across various disciplines such as Product Ownership, UX/UI Design, Quality Assurance, Development, Scrum Management, SEO, and Analytics. Our teams, spread between France and India (Pune), collaborate seamlessly to deliver digital solutions that not only meet but exceed our global audience's expectations. Through innovation, dedication, and a deep understanding of our consumers, we continue to set benchmarks in the digital domain, supporting all brands, regions, countries, and activities within the Michelin Group.

Role Overview:

As a Digital Product Owner within the PMO team at CX Digital Factory, you will play a pivotal role in steering our digital projects from conception to launch. You will be at the forefront of our mission to enhance user experiences across the Michelin Group's global digital platforms. This role demands a blend of strategic vision, user empathy, and a deep understanding of digital technologies to deliver solutions that resonate with our audiences and align with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and articulate product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with the broader business goals.
  • Manage the product backlog, prioritizing features based on value, impact, and strategic importance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX/UI Designers, Developers, and Analysts to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and the development team, facilitating clear communication and ensuring project alignment with expectations.
  • Conduct market and user research to inform product decisions and ensure we are meeting the needs of our users.
  • Monitor and report on product performance, leveraging insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Champion the agile methodology, fostering an environment of rapid iteration and learning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in digital product development.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical thinker with a user-centered design mindset.
  • Passionate about technology and staying abreast of the latest trends and innovations.

 More specifically (s)he must be:

  • Taking lead of teams as the Product Owner.
  • Providing vision and direction to the Agile development team and create requirements whenever needed.
  • Planning and prioritize product feature backlog and development.
  • Assessing value, develop cases, stories and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value.
  • Working closely with management to maintain a product backlog according to business value.
  • Leading the planning product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities.
  • Providing an active role in mitigating roadblocks impacting successful team completion of deployments.
  • Researching and analyze the markets, the users, and the roadmap for the product.
  • Following competitors and other products related to his portfolio.
