This role is based in Michelin Corporate & Business Services in Bucharest, where more than 800 colleagues deliver excellence in Purchasing, Finance, Logistics, Order to Cash, Service Management and Personnel.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in Project Management and change management ( prior experience in an SSC or BPO environment would be considered an advantage);

  • Strong communication skills. Ability to facilitate discussions over conflicting priorities while negotiating resources & course of action;

  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff within the company and external parties;

  • Any functional credentials are a plus (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, Agile) based on practical experience;

  • Problem solving and continuous improvement mindset;

  • Ability to handle large volumes of information, conduct analysis and synthesis to shape into insights that are presented in an accurate & relevant format to the appropriate audience;

  • Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time;

  • Fluency in English; French skills are highly appreciated.

 

 

The Project Manager will:

  • Be responsible for the project planning and execution: development of an effective planning process, including the creation of an integrated project roadmap. Identify and schedule project key activities, deliverables, milestones and tasks required.

  • Ensure all project deliverables within the portfolio are delivered within the agreed tolerance of budget, cost & quality parameters and satisfy the defined project expectations as per Project Sponsor.

  • Change management: plan, manage and reenforce change through the project stages.

  • Shape a comprehensive communication strategy to ensure effective change & communication to stakeholders about strategy, goals, progress and initiatives to drive delivery of project outcomes.

  • Stakeholders’ engagement: identify key stakeholders and develop strategies to manage throughout the project stages.

  • Ensure all project related risks, issues, dependencies and actions are regularly tracked, progressed and resolved via relevant governance structure in place.

  • Develop and maintain project documentation in line with relevant methodologies & frameworks in place.

  • Identify any opportunities for further improvement and mobilize the relevant stakeholders to pursue them.

  • Lead change management initiatives.

  • Act as an internal trainer for project management and change management trainings

  • Navigate through ambiguity, managing and coordinating multiple project assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, taking ownership of the overall projects progress. 

  • Portfolio of projects assigned may vary from deployments of various systems & ways of working, transitions, field studies for prospecting new service opportunities, organizational design and any other relevant transformation initiatives part Corporate & Business Services strategy
