KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
The potential progress initiatives of his Area/s are identified through VSM 1Y Exercise/Workshop and maintain a frequent follow up on the action plan.
The progress initiatives are implemented using the job study methodology and/or the Lean approach to improve the performance of his Area
The "basics OI/IE" are in place and maintained: TU, TR0/TRS, activity monitoring are in place and improving through Logistics improvements, machine availability improvements by operational losses identification & improving operational productivity (IPI).
Standards and associated control mechanisms are established by ensuring the availability of updated MOS/DPC (WSS)
Change management is carried out successfully
Operational teams gain autonomy to steer their progress initiatives by Train and coach relevant stakeholders (FLLT) on IE & LEAN tools (Progress Tools & concepts) MDP system requirements towards successful implementation and maintain continuous follow-up the processes and practices.
Flows are under control in his/her area through Spaggatti, Simogram & Kanban.
LEAN studies or progress projects are led and carried out using the DMAIC Methodology.
The necessary resources (manpower / processes / machines) are defined and the capacities are mastered.
Calculate the capacities (as per REF 21 & Gui167) and analyze the monthly demand which applied to his/her Area and formulates required solutions, coordinating with other support functions of the site to leverage their responsiveness to make the bridges/reactivity to overcome capacity challenges.
Best practices are shared with the progress network and used to identify and propose actions.
Support MDP system execution (being part of N2 team, go to N1 time to time, challenge the results and take actions, do Short loop, support RPP, define the target 100 in the HrxHr)
Perform annual routing maintenance project to upload correct time of the operations in ERP system for pricing corresponds to his/her Area.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor Degree of Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Physical Science, Manufacturing management or an equivalent qualification.
- 2 - 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Sound knowledge on Lean Methodologies and principles.
- Six Sigma Green Belt Certification would be an added advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Highly energetic personality with a positive, can‑do attitude.
